Loan will go into underwriting.
Appraisal will be ordered at this time and could take up to 2-3 weeks for return.
Home inspections & Negotiations – Hire a reputable home inspector (agent recommendations)
Your realtor will negotiate any issues for you & make contract adjustments as needed.
Appraisal return and back to underwriting for final approval.
Wait for “clear to close” from underwriting and confirm the closing date.
Closing & Move – Do a final walkthrough with your agent. Hire a moving company if needed. Get homeowners Insurance. Turn on utilities and welcome home!
