Your Home Buying Process

The G7 Group is with you every step of the way through the Home Buying Process.

  1. Hire your Realtor (We won’t let you down)
  2. Clean up Credit & get Pre-approved. (agent recommendations)
  3. Once pre-approved no more large purchases or credit inquiries of any kind. (Critical)
  4. Create a list of your needs & wants. (See our Buyers Questionnaire)
  5. Get educated on the current Market via your agent.
  6. View homes with your Realtor.
  7. Make an offer on a home & enter into a contract. Your Realtor will handle negotiations for you regarding price, contingencies & inspections, while keeping you in the loop through it all.
  8. Secure the loan – Fill out all loan related docs per lender, providing necessary paperwork asap.
  9. Loan will go into underwriting.
  10. Appraisal will be ordered at this time and could take up to 2-3 weeks for return.
  11. Home inspections & Negotiations – Hire a reputable home inspector (agent recommendations)
  12. Your realtor will negotiate any issues for you & make contract adjustments as needed.
  13. Appraisal return and back to underwriting for final approval.
  14. Wait for “clear to close” from underwriting and confirm the closing date.
  15. Closing & Move – Do a final walkthrough with your agent. Hire a moving company if needed. Get homeowners Insurance. Turn on utilities and welcome home!
